Whyte calls the E-120 the "definitive suspension trail bike." We just call it awesome. From it's headtube to the drop outs, it bleeds cutting edge CAD design and real world execution.
The Quad Link 2 suspension features a variable leverage ratio, providing excellent pedaling without relying on excessive low speed compression damping. What that means to you, is that the bike puts the power down without bobbing and wallowing, all the offering response to all bumps, including square edged hits.
It's loaded with tons of features designed to keep you on the trail and not wrenching. It's bearings come with a lifetime warranty. The shock is sheltered and protected from mud and spray by the swingarm, seat tube and the downtube. The seat tube is uninterrupted so you can lower and raise your seatpost to match the terrain. Speaking of seatposts, the E-120 uses the "Getta Grip" to hold the post. It clamps more securely, with less effort, and most importantly, no distortion of the frame. Plus, there aren't any slots to let water in to the frame.
Keeping everything stiff and tracking well are the Big Gripper droupouts. They give the E-120 the structural rigidity of a through axle, with the convenience and weight of a QR. Also, you can use any 135mm QR rear hub.
